TS EAMCET stands for Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test. It is a state-level entrance exam conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE). The exam is the prerequisite for admission into various professional courses offered in University/ Private Colleges in the state of Telangana for the academic year 2023-2024.
The exam is conducted in two streams:
- Engineering (E) Stream: This stream is for admission into B.Tech./B.Arch./B.Plan. courses.
- Agriculture and Medical (AM) Stream: This stream is for admission into B.Sc. (Agriculture), B.V.Sc. and A.H., B.D.S., and MBBS courses.
The exam is a computer-based test (CBT) and consists of 160 objective-type questions. The duration of the exam is 3 hours. The questions are based on the following subjects:
