RGUKT IIIT Basara 1st Selection List 2024 (OUT), First Phase Selected Candidates List @ rgukt.ac.in :- IIIT Basara, also known as Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT), Basar, is a state university located in Basar, Nirmal district, Telangana, India. It was established in 2008 and offers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in various technology programmes.

The university has a residential campus of 272 acres (110 ha) and is equipped with modern facilities such as classrooms, laboratories, libraries, hostels, and sports complexes. It also has a well-developed IT infrastructure with a high-speed internet connection.

IIIT Basara offers a six-year integrated B.Tech program in Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering. It also offers two-year M.Tech programs in Computer Science Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Computational Mechanics in Mechanical Engineering.

The Eligibility Criteria for Admission to IIIT Basara are as follows:

• Candidates should have passed SSC (10th Class) or any other equivalent examinations in the first attempt, recognized by the State Governments of Telangana & Andhra Pradesh in the Year 2023.
• Candidates whose age is above 18 years as on 31st December 2023.
• Candidates should have scored at least 60% marks in aggregate in the 10th Class examinations.
• Candidates should have scored at least 60% marks in each of the science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) in the 10th Class examinations.

The selection of candidates for admission to IIIT Basara is based on merit. The merit list is prepared on the basis of the candidate’s performance in the TS EAMCET entrance examination.

The first selection list for admission to RGUKT IIIT Basara for the academic year 2023-2024 has been released on July 3, 2023. The list is available on the university’s website, www.rgukt.ac.in.

The list contains the names of the candidates who have been provisionally selected for admission to the various undergraduate engineering programmes offered by the university. The candidates who have been selected have to participate in the counselling process which will be held from July 6th to 10th, 2024.

The counselling process will be held online and the candidates will have to login to the university’s website to participate. The candidates will be allotted seats in the various programmes based on their rank in the selection list and their preferences.

The final selection list will be released after the counselling process is completed.

Instructions to the Candidates Attending Counselling :

Candidates Attending counselling for admission to RGUKT IIIT Basara for the academic year 2023-2024:

• The counselling process will be held on July 6 to 10, 2023 at RGUKT IIIT Basar campus.
• The candidates must report to the counselling venue at least 30 minutes before their allotted time.
• The candidates must bring the following documents along with them:
  • Original and photocopies of all certificates (10th, 12th, and TS EAMCET)
  • Income certificate (for the reserved category candidates)
  • Caste certificate (for the reserved category candidates)
  • Transfer certificate (TC) and conduct certificate from the previous school
  • Two passport size photographs
• The candidates must wear a face mask and maintain social distancing at all times.
• The candidates must follow the instructions given by the counselling authorities.

The Counselling process will be conducted in two phases:

• Phase 1: The candidates will be allotted their choice of programme based on their rank in the selection list and their preferences.
• Phase 2: The candidates who have not been allotted a seat in Phase 1 will be called for a second round of counselling. In the second round, the candidates will be allotted seats based on their rank in the selection list and the availability of seats.

Fee to be Paid

The fee must be paid in the form of a demand draft (DD) drawn in favour of “The Director, RGUKT, Basar” payable at Basar. The DD can be drawn from any nationalized bank.

The fee must be paid at the time of counselling. The candidates who do not pay the fee will not be admitted to the university.
