The RRC NER Gorakhpur is responsible for conducting recruitment exams and selecting candidates for various posts in the North Eastern Railway. These posts include:
- Level 1 Posts: These Posts are entry-level posts in the Railways, such as Trackman, Porter, and Helper.

The Railway Recruitment Cell, North Eastern Railway, Gorakhpur has released a notification for the recruitment of 1104 Act Apprentice posts in various ITI trades. Interested and eligible candidates can fill out the online application form from 03 July to 02 August 2023.
Eligibility Criteria:
- The candidate must have passed the 10th class examination from a recognized board or university.
- The candidate must have passed the ITI trade test in the relevant trade from a recognized ITI institute.
- The candidate must be between 15 and 24 years of age as on 02/08/2023.
Selection Process:
The selection of candidates will be based on a written exam and a trade test. The written exam will consist of questions on General Knowledge, Arithmetic, and the relevant ITI trade. The trade test will be a practical test to assess the candidate’s skills in the relevant ITI trade.
