PNPACAT 2024 Online Application : Schedule & Requirements : Check Below :- PNPACAT stands for Philippine National Police Academy Cadet Admission Test. It is a standardized test administered to applicants for admission to the PNPA Cadet Admission Program. The PNPACAT is a multiple-choice exam divided into four parts:

The Philippine National Police Academy is the premier public safety institution that hones the future leaders of the PNP, BJMP, and BFP. Created by Section 19 of Presidential Decree 1184, it was established for the training and education of the members of the tri-bureau services of the Department of Interior and Local Government.

Admitted cadets will undergo the PNPA Cadetship Program, a government-sponsored 4-year tertiary education course. Upon entry to the Academy, the PNPA cadets will receive monthly pay and allowances for their training and education expenses. After graduation, they will be granted a Bachelor of Science in Public Safety (BSPS) degree. Moreover, graduates are automatically appointed as Police Lieutenants of the PNP, Jail Inspectors of the BJMP, or Fire Inspectors of the BFP

PNPACAT Eligibility Criteria 2024

The Eligibility Criteria for the PNPACAT 2024 are as follows:
  • Citizenship: Natural-born Filipino citizen.
  • Age: At least 18 years old and not more than 22 years old on the day of the exam.
  • Educational attainment: At least a Senior High School (SHS) graduate before admission.
  • Physical and mental fitness: Physically and mentally fit to undergo rigorous training.
  • Moral character: Of good moral character and has no criminal record.
  • Other requirements:
    • Single and has no parental obligation.
    • Must have a normal BMI corresponding to age, height, weight, and gender pursuant to R.A. 11549.
    • Must not be less than 5’2″ (158.4 cm) for males and 5’0 (152.4 cm) for females.

PNPACAT 2024 Schedule

The PNPA has not yet announced the schedule of PNPACAT for 2024. However, based on previous years, the exam is usually held in August. Therefore, we can expect that the 2024 PNPACAT will be in August 2024. The online application period for PNPACAT 2024 will likely start in late January 2024.

We will wait for the official announcement from the PNPA, which will probably come out in late December 2023 or early January 2024. Please stay tuned for more updates.

PNPACAT Selection Process 2024 :

The PNPACAT Selection Process for 2024 is expected to be the same as the previous years, with some minor modifications.

Here is a general overview of the PNPACAT selection process:

  1. Online application: Applicants must create an account on the PNPA Online Application System and complete the online application form. They must also submit the required supporting documents, such as a copy of their birth certificate, high school diploma, and NBI clearance.
  2. PNPCAT: Applicants must take and pass the PNPACAT. The exam is divided into four parts: Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, Logical Reasoning, and English Proficiency.
  3. Physical fitness test: Applicants who pass the PNPACAT must undergo a physical fitness test. The test includes a 400-meter run, push-ups, sit-ups, and pull-ups.
  4. Medical examination: Applicants who pass the physical fitness test must undergo a medical examination. The medical examination is to ensure that the applicant is physically and mentally fit to undergo rigorous training.
  5. Panel interview: Applicants who pass the medical examination must undergo a panel interview. The panel interview is to assess the applicant’s personality, motivation, and commitment to a career in public service.

How to Apply :

To Apply for the PNPACAT 2024, you must create an account on the PNPA Online Application System and complete the online application form. You must also submit the required supporting documents, such as a copy of your birth certificate, high school diploma, and NBI clearance.

Here is a step-by-step guide on how to apply for the PNPACAT 2024:

  1. Go to the PNPA Online Application System website and click on the “Create Account” button.
  2. Enter your personal information and create a password.
  3. Once you have created an account, log in and click on the “Apply Now” button.
  4. Fill out the online application form completely and accurately.
  5. Upload the required supporting documents.
  6. Review your application and submit it.

Once you have submitted your application, you will receive a confirmation email from the PNPA. You will be notified of the status of your application within a few weeks.

The PNPA Entrance Exam online application requires the applicant to upload the following documentary requirements:

  • a scanned copy of your PSA Birth Certificate (keep your official receipt because you may need this in other phases if you pass the exam);
  • a scanned copy of the PNPA BMI form signed by a licensed Physician (government or private);
  • A scanned copy of one (1) passport-sized (4.5cm x 3.5cm) ID picture with a name tag.

Please be reminded that these files should not exceed 20 MB in size. Reduce the image size before uploading.

Once you have all the necessary documents, follow these simple steps to register:

1. Create an Account

You will start your PNPA Cadetship journey by creating an account on their online application portal. On a computer with a good internet connection, go to the PNPA Application website (https://application.pnpa.edu.ph/registration.html).

For New Applicants

  • You will see the Welcome page of the application portal. Click the red button if you are a new applicant. Click the Privacy Notice checkbox, then click the Continue button.

  • Confirm that you are qualified to apply for the 2022 PNPACAT then click the continue button.
  • This link will take you to the REGISTRATION page. This is for first-time applicants only. Simply follow the directions at the top of each segment and continue. In the subsequent sections, you will be required to provide your name, address, gender, date of birth, and account details, which you will use to access your account.
  • A pop-up window will appear confirming that you have successfully created an account. Take note of the application number that is created. This will be used for account identification. Then, you will be prompted to choose between logging in immediately or later. A picture may also appear if a mistake occurs during registration. It will indicate when numerous applications with identical information are registered.

For Old Applicants

If you already applied for the previous PNPA Entrance Exam but were not accepted, click the gray button to log in. Enter your registered email address and the corresponding password that you used during the registration process.

2. Provide the Required Information/Documents

You will then be redirected to a page that consists of sections. At this point, you will be required to enter your educational information, medical information, and indigenous profile, among other requirements. Use the drop-down button if needed.

  • Fill out the required information. Choose your preferred testing center, and upload scanned copies of your PSA Birth Certificate, Passport-Sized Picture, and Accomplished BMI Form.
  • At this stage, clicking FINALIZE will submit your information as TRUE AND CORRECT. This will also lock your account to prevent future access. If you wish to recheck your inputs, please click “PREVIOUS”.

You’ll be taken to a new page if you click FINALIZE. Please remember to keep a record of the security code, which must not be disclosed to anyone. The PNPA is currently working on a portal that will allow you to see the status of your application for this year.
At this point, your application is complete, and the PNPA will inform you via the contact information that you provided. The portal will now lock your account to prevent changes or editing of your submitted data.

Initial Requirements

The initial requirements for the PNPACAT 2024 are as follows:
  • Citizenship: Natural-born Filipino citizen.

Disqualifications :

The Following are grounds for disqualification from the PNPACAT:

  • Failure to meet any of the initial requirements
  • Deliberately inputting false and/or incorrect entries in any of the fields of the online application form
  • Uploading any fraudulent document
  • Incomplete entries not satisfying the online application requirements
  • Failing the PNPACAT
  • Failing the physical fitness test
  • Failing the medical examination
  • Failing the panel interview

Applicants who are disqualified from the PNPACAT may reapply in the following year, provided that they still meet the Eligibility Criteria.

Next Steps :

Successful examinees who pass the PNPACAT shall qualify for the next stage of screening, which is as follows:

  1. Physical Agility Test:

  1. Psychological and Psychiatric Examination (PPE);
  2. Physical, Medical, and Dental Examination (PMDE); and,
  3. Panel Interview.
