• Engineering Graduate Apprentices:-An eligible candidate must possess a full-time Engineering or Technology degree granted either by a Statutory University, an Institution authorized by an Act of Parliament, or a recognized Professional Body, in the relevant discipline.
• Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentices:- Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentices are required to hold a full-time degree in the respective discipline granted by either a Statutory University or an Institution authorized by an Act of Parliament.
• Technician (Diploma) Apprentices:-For Technician (Diploma) Apprenticeships, candidates should possess a full-time Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a State Council, Board of Technical Education, University, or recognized Institution in the relevant discipline.
• For Trade Apprentices – Candidate should have (ITI Certificate).

NLC Apprentice Selection Process 2024

The selection process for NLC Apprentice 2023 will be based on the following criteria:

• Percentage of marks scored in the qualifying examination: For Engineering Graduate Apprentices (EGAs) and Technician (Diploma) Apprentices (TDAs), the percentage of marks scored in the qualifying degree / diploma will be considered. For Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentices (NEGAs), the percentage of marks scored in all subjects in the XII Std. (HSc) examinations will be considered.
• Trade test: For Trade Apprentices (TAs), a trade test will be conducted to assess the candidates’ skills and knowledge in the relevant trade.
• Personal interview: A personal interview will be conducted to assess the candidates’ communication skills, personality, and suitability for the apprenticeship program.

The final selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in all the above criteria.

7. Upload the required documents.
8. Pay the application fee of Rs. 100/-.
9. Submit the application form.
