Naita Course List 2024 Sinhala Full Time නයිටා පාඨමාලා ලැයිස්තුව සිංහල Naita Courses List Part Time Pre School Nursing Kurunegala :- The National Apprentice and Industrial Training Authority (NAITA) is a government agency in Sri Lanka that provides technical and vocational training. It was established in 1990 under the Tertiary and Vocational Education Act No. 20 of 1990.

NAITA’s Main objectives are to:

• Plan, organize, and provide vocational training.
• Specify standards in relation to vocational training.

NAITA Sri Lanka Eligibility Criteria

Objectives Of NAITA

In order to achieve these objectives, NAITA has a number of programs and initiatives in place. These include:

• The Apprenticeship Training Scheme, which provides young people with the opportunity to learn a trade while being paid a monthly stipend.
• The National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Scheme, which is a competency-based training program that leads to the award of a NVQ certificate.
• The Situational and Village Level Training Scheme, which provides short-term training in skills that can be used in the local community.
• The Industrial and Center-based Training Scheme, which provides training in a variety of fields, such as engineering, construction, and IT.
• The National Trade Tests, which are used to assess the skills of apprentices and other trainees.
• The Research & Development Unit, which is responsible for conducting research on vocational training and developing new training programs.
