Eligibility Criteria

The Eligibility Criteria for admission to various courses offered by Dr.M.G.R. Medical University are as follows:

MBBS

Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as compulsory subjects.
Must have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Must have passed the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) conducted by the National Board of Examinations (NBME).

BDS

Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and either Mathematics or Bio-Technology as compulsory subjects.
Must have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Must have passed the NEET conducted by the NBME.

MD/MS

Must have passed MBBS from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate.
Must have passed the National Board of Examinations (NBME) Screening Test for MD/MS.

PG Diploma

Must have passed MBBS from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.
Must have passed the National Board of Examinations (NBME) Screening Test for PG Diploma.

In addition to the above, the candidates must also meet the following eligibility criteria:

Must be a citizen of India.
Must be physically and mentally fit.
