The SSC CHSL Tier 1 exam 2024 was held on August 2-17, 2024. The overall difficulty level of the paper was considered as “easy to moderate” by the candidates who appeared for the exam.

The Commission notifies the exam pattern in the official notification. SSC MTS and Havaldar Paper 1 (CBT) is conducted based on the exam pattern given in the official notification. The SSC MTS and Havaldar 2023 exam pattern was not changed because no such information was conveyed by the commission.

The SSC MTS and Havaldar paper 1 will be conducted from September 1 to 29, 2023 as per the exam pattern shown above. The new exam pattern has increased the weightage of General Awareness and English in the selection process. The questions will be set in English, Hindi, and in 13 regional languages.

Negative Marking in SSC MTS and Havaldar Exam

SSC MTS and Havaldar paper 1 has a negative marking of the quantum of one by four. It implies that the one-by-fourth marks (of the marks assigned to that question) of the candidates will be deducted for each incorrect answer marked in the SSC MTS and Havaldar answer key online. SSC MTS & Havaldar Recruitment

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is conducting the SSC MTS and Havaldar 2023 recruitment to fill 1558 vacancies for the posts of Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) and Havaldar (CBIC & CBN).

The application process for the SSC MTS and Havaldar 2023 recruitment is online. The application form can be filled in from June 30, 2023 to July 21, 2023.

The exam will be held in two phases:

  • Phase 1: Objective test (100 questions, 2 hours)
  • Phase 2: Descriptive test (150 marks, 60 minutes)

The objective test will be held in two shifts:

  • Shift 1: 9:30 am to 12:30 pm
  • Shift 2: 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm

The descriptive test will be held in the afternoon shift only.

The result for the SSC MTS and Havaldar 2023 recruitment will be released in October 2023.

The selection of candidates will be based on their performance in the objective test and the descriptive test.

The salary for the SSC MTS and Havaldar 2023 recruitment is as follows:

  • Multi Tasking Staff (MTS): Rs. 18,000/- per month
  • Havaldar (CBIC & CBN): Rs. 25,500/- per month
