SPSC LDC Result 2024 Date {} Check Sikkim PSC LDC, ARS Exam Cut off Marks & Final Merit List Pdf :- SPSC stands for Sikkim Public Service Commission. It is a state autonomous body commissioned and established by the Government of Sikkim. The SPSC is responsible for conducting recruitment examinations for various posts in the Government of Sikkim. It also functions as an advisory body to the Government on matters relating to personnel administration. The SPSC’s headquarter is located in Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim.

The SPSC was established on 25th July 1975 under the Sikkim Public Service Commission Act, 1975. The SPSC is headed by a Chairperson and has two other Members. The Chairperson and Members are appointed by the Governor of Sikkim on the recommendation of the Chief Minister. The SPSC’s functions are as follows:

To conduct recruitment examinations for various posts in the Government of Sikkim.
To advise the Government on matters relating to personnel administration.
To make recommendations to the Government on the suitability of candidates for appointment to various posts.
To conduct departmental examinations for promotion of Government employees.
To maintain a register of qualified and eligible candidates for various posts in the Government of Sikkim.
To conduct research studies on personnel management and related matters.
To perform such other functions as may be assigned to it by the Government.

The SPSC is an important body in the Government of Sikkim. It plays a crucial role in ensuring that the Government has a competent and efficient workforce.
