RRB Group D Exam Dates 2024

RRB Group D Nationality 2024

The Nationality criteria for the RRB Group D exam are as follows:

• The candidate must be a citizen of India.
• The candidate must be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan.
• The candidate must be a Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962.
• The candidate must be a person of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, East African countries of Uganda, Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania, Malawi, Zaire, Zambia, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

The candidate must produce the required documents to prove their nationality. The documents may vary depending on the candidate’s nationality.

RRD Group D Age Limit 2024

The RRB Group D age limit is 18 to 33 years as of the closing date of the application. There is a relaxation in the upper age limit for the following categories:

For example, if the closing date of the application is December 31, 2023, then a general category candidate must be born on or after January 1, 1990 and on or before December 31, 2001.

The RRB Group D physical standards are as follows:

• Height: 150 cm for male candidates and 145 cm for female candidates

The chest measurement should be taken with the candidate expanding his/her chest to the maximum extent.

The candidates must also pass the following physical efficiency tests:

• 1000 meters running: Male candidates must be able to run 1000 meters in 4 minutes and 15 seconds. Female candidates must be able to run 1000 meters in 5 minutes and 40 seconds.
• 35 kg weight lifting: Male candidates must be able to lift and carry a weight of 35 kg for a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down.
• 20 kg weight lifting: Female candidates must be able to lift and carry a weight of 20 kg for a distance of 100 meters in 2 minutes in one chance without putting the weight down.

• The qualifying marks for CBT 1 are 30% for general category candidates and 25% for SC/ST/PwD candidates.

RRB Group D Document Verification & Medical Examination 2024

RRB Group D Exam Centre 2024

The RRB Group D exam center will be allotted to the candidates by the Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) on the basis of their choice and availability of seats. The candidates can choose their exam center while filling the application form.

The RRBs will release a list of exam centers on their official website. The candidates can check the list of exam centers and select their preferred center.
