It was established on December 22, 1949, under the Rajasthan Public Service Commission Act, 1949.
The RPSC is headquartered in Ajmer, Rajasthan. The current chairman of the RPSC is Sanjay Kumar Shrotriya, an Indian Police Service (IPS) officer of the 1992 batch.
The RPSC conducts examinations for a variety of posts, including:
- Rajasthan Administrative Service (RAS)
- Rajasthan Police Service (RPS)
- Rajasthan Subordinate Services (RSS)
- Rajasthan Ministerial Services (RMS)

The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) is recruiting 9760 candidates for the post of 2nd Grade Teacher (Senior Teacher) in various government schools in Rajasthan. The application process was open from April 11 to May 10, 2022. The exam is scheduled to be held on July 30, 2023.
The eligibility criteria for the post of 2nd Grade Teacher are as follows:
- Age: The candidate must be between 18 and 40 years of age as of January 1, 2023.
- Educational qualification: The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Education from a recognized university.
- Rajasthan domicile: The candidate must be a domicile of Rajasthan.
The selection process for the post of 2nd Grade Teacher will consist of two stages:
- A written examination
- An interview
The written examination will be of 200 marks and will be held in two parts. Part I will be a general knowledge test of 100 marks, and Part II will be a subject-specific test of 100 marks. The interview will be of 50 marks.
The in-hand salary for a 2nd Grade Teacher in Rajasthan is expected to be in the range of Rs 37,800- Rs 50,800.

To check your result, you can follow these steps
- Go to the official website of the RPSC: rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in
- Click on the “Results” tab.
- Select the “2nd Grade Teacher” exam from the list of exams.
- Enter your application number and date of birth.
- Click on the “Submit” button.
Your result will be displayed on the screen.

The RPSC 2nd Grade Teacher Result 2023 for all subjects has been released on the official website of the RPSC on June 20, 2023. You can check your result by following the steps I mentioned in my previous reply.
The result announcement was delayed due to the large number of applications received for the exam. The RPSC had to conduct the exam in two phases to accommodate all the applicants.
RPSC 2nd Grade Teacher Result 2023 Subject Wise
RPSC 2nd Grade Teacher Result 2023 has been released subject wise. The results for the following subjects have been released so far:
