Respiratory Therapist Board Exam Result 2024 (Feb) PRC LERT Passers List 2024 :- The Respiratory Therapists Licensure Examination (RTLE) is a professional licensure examination in the Philippines administered by the Board of Respiratory Therapy under the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). It is a mandatory examination for all individuals who wish to practice as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in the Philippines.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Be a Filipino citizen or a foreign national granted permanent resident status in the Philippines by the Bureau of Immigration.
- Be of good moral character.
- Possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Respiratory Therapy from a program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) or an equivalent accrediting body.
- Have completed at least 1,500 hours of supervised clinical internship in a PRC-accredited healthcare facility.
- Pass the RTLE.
Examination Coverage:
The RTLE is a computer-based exam that covers the following topics:
- Fundamentals of Respiratory Therapy: This section covers the basic principles and concepts of respiratory care, including anatomy and physiology of the respiratory system, pathophysiology of respiratory diseases, and basic equipment and procedures.
- Clinical Applications of Respiratory Therapy: This section covers the application of respiratory therapy principles in various clinical settings, such as adult critical care, pediatric respiratory care, and neonatal respiratory care.
- Professional Practice: This section covers the ethical and legal aspects of respiratory therapy practice, as well as communication and documentation skills.
Examination Schedule:
The RTLE is held twice a year, usually in February and September. The application period for the exam is usually announced three months before the scheduled date.
Results and Registration:
The results of the RTLE are usually released within two working days after the last day of the examination. Successful examinees are required to register with the PRC and take an oath before they can start practicing as an RRT.
