Powergrid PGCIL Apprentice Recruitment 2024 : PGCIL Job Notification 2024 :- Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) is a Maharatna (Ultra Mega) Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) under the ownership of the Ministry of Power, Government of India. It is engaged mainly in transmission of bulk power across different states of India. It is headquartered in Gurugram, Haryana.

POWERGRID was incorporated on October 23rd, 1989, under the Companies Act, 1956. It is a listed company, with 51.34% holding of Government of India and the balance is held by Institutional Investors and public.

PGCIL Various Apprentice Online Form 2024

Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has released a notification for the recruitment of 1045 Apprentices. The online application process started on July 1, 2023 and will close on July 31, 2023.

The vacancies are available for the following trades:

• Electrical
• Electronics
• Civil
• Mechanical
• Information Technology
• Instrumentation
• Electrical (Telecom)
• Electrical (Instrumentation)

The eligibility criteria for the posts are as follows:

• The candidate must have passed the 10th or 12th standard examination with science subjects.
• The candidate must have a valid apprentice registration number.
• The candidate must be between the age of 18 and 24 years as of July 1, 2023.

The selection process will consist of a written test and an interview. The written test will be objective in nature and will be held in multiple centers across the country. The interview will be held for shortlisted candidates.

The application fee is Rs. 100 for general category candidates and Rs. 50 for SC/ST/PWD candidates. The application can be submitted online through the PGCIL website.
