PLE Results : October 2023 Physician Licensure Exam Passers

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has not yet released the official list of passers for the October 2023 Physician Licensure Exam (PLE). However, the PRC Board News has announced that the results are expected to be released this week, on or before November 6th, 2023.

Once the results are released, they will be available on the PRC website and the PRC Board News social media pages.

To Check the Results, Examinees can visit the PRC website and enter their name and examination number. They can also check the PRC Board News social media pages for updates.

PLE Results : October 2023 Physician Licensure Exam Passers

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) is set to release the October 2023 Physicians Licensure Exam results on November 6, 2023. The list of the top ten examinees will also be included in the release three (3) working days after the examination.

On October 20-21 & 27-28, 2023 , the PLE was conducted at several testing centers in the NCR, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga. It was administered by the Professional Regulatory Board of Medicine, headed by its Chairman, Dr. Godofreda V. Dalmacion, and its members, Dr. Eleanor B. Almoro, Dr. Zenaida L. Antonio, Dr. Martha O. Nucum, Dr. Efren C. Laxamana, and Dr. Joanna V. Remo.

October 2023 PLE Results 

The list of passers will be posted here once the PRC releases the official results online. According to PRC Resolution No. 1589 Series of 2022, the target release of the results is on November 6, 2023. However, the results may come out later than the target date without prior notice from the PRC. Please stay tuned for more updates.

Initial Registration and Requirements

The Registration for the issuance of a Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done online and only accessible through an online appointment. The PRC will also release the schedule for the online appointment along with the list of passers. Here are the registration requirements:

• Notice of Admission (NOA) for identification purposes
• Duly completed Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
• Passport-sized ID Photos on a white background with a complete name tag (2 pieces)
• Documentary Stamps (2 sets)
• Short Brown Envelope (1 piece)

The official date of the oath-taking ceremony for the newly licensed physicians will be announced later.

Previous Exams :

The Professional Regulation Commission regularly conducts the Licensure Examination for Fisheries Professionals twice a year. It is one of the programs with a decent number of examinees, but it also has high passing rates among other programs.

On March 2023, 1,573 out of 2,887 (54.49%) passed the Physicians Licensure Exam. Aira Cassandra Suguitan Castro from Mariano Marcos State University – Batac is the topnotcher with a rating of 89.00%. Following closely is Philip Patrick Lee from Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila clinching the second spot with a rating of 88.58%. The University of Santo Tomas emerged as the top-performing school with an overall passing rate of 83.61%.
