PGIM Results 2024 : Sri Lanka www.pgim.cmb.ac.lk Postgraduate Institute of Medicine :- The Postgraduate Institute of Medicine (PGIM) of the University of Colombo is the graduate school that provides specialist training and board certification of medical doctors in Sri Lanka. The Postgraduate Institute of Medicine (PGIM) of the University of Colombo has released the results for a number of postgraduate medical exams held in 2024. The results can be viewed on the PGIM website.

The following exams have released their results:

  • Certificate of Competence in Anesthesiology (CCA) Examination – June 2024
  • Selection Examination in MD Medicine & Geriatric Medicine – May/June 2024
  • Portfolio Assessment in MD Health Informatics – June 2024
  • PG Certificate in Medical Education Examination – 2024 (Resubmission)
  • MD in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Examination – May/June, 2024
  • MCQ Paper of the Selection Examination in MD (Psychiatry) – June 2024

The results for other exams will be released on the PGIM website as they become available.

To view the results for a particular exam, you will need to enter your registration number and date of birth. You can find your registration number on your admit card or on the PGIM website.

Who Conduct the MD / MS Examination in PGIM

The Postgraduate Institute of Medicine (PGIM) of the University of Colombo conducts the MD/MS examinations in Sri Lanka. The examinations are conducted by a Board of Studies for each specialty, which is made up of experts in that field. The Board of Studies is responsible for setting the syllabus, preparing the examination papers, and marking the examinations. The MD/MS examinations are held twice a year, in June and December. The examinations are open to all medical graduates who have completed their internship. To be eligible to sit for the examinations, candidates must have a minimum of 55% in their MBBS examinations.

The MD/MS examinations are a comprehensive assessment of a candidate’s knowledge and skills in their chosen specialty. The examinations typically consist of a written paper, an oral examination, and a practical examination. The written paper tests the candidate’s knowledge of the theoretical aspects of the specialty.
