Ontario Secondary School Diploma Results 2024 : Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT) :- The Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) is the official high school diploma in the Canadian province of Ontario. It is awarded to students who have successfully completed the Ontario education curriculum, which includes a total of 30 credits. Of these credits, 18 are compulsory and 12 are optional.

The compulsory credits are as follows:

  • 4 credits in English
  • 3 credits in Mathematics, with at least 1 credit in Grade 11 or 12
  • 2 credits in Science, one in Grade 9 and one in Grade 10
  • 1 credit in Canadian History (Grade 10)
  • 1 credit in Canadian Geography (Grade 9)
  • 1 credit in the Arts
  • 1 credit in Health and Physical Education
  • 1 credit in French as a second language, or 1 credit in English as a second language if the student’s first language is French
  • 0.5 credits in Career Studies
  • 0.5 credits in Civics and Citizenship

The Optional Credits can be chosen from a wide variety of subjects, including:

  • Languages
  • Mathematics

  • Social Studies
  • Arts
  • Career and Technology Studies
  • Other

In addition to the academic requirements, students must also pass the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT) or the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Course (OSSLC). The OSSLT is a standardized test of reading, writing, and grammar skills. The OSSLC is a course that can be taken to prepare for the OSSLT.

Students who meet all of the requirements for the OSSD will be awarded their diploma at a graduation ceremony. The OSSD is a valuable credential that can help students to get into college or university, get a job, or further their education in other ways.

Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)

The Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) is a globally recognized high school diploma granted by the Ministry of Education in Ontario, Canada. Upon completing the OSSD, students can apply to reputable universities and colleges in Canada, the USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, and Hong Kong. Atlantic Hall was approved by the Ontario Ministry of Education, Canada, to run the Ontario Secondary School Diploma in Nigeria in Partnership with Kanata Academy International (KAI), Ontario.

In order to earn an Ontario Secondary School Diploma, a student must earn a minimum of 30 credits, including 18 compulsory credits and 12 optional credits. Students must also complete 40 hours of community involvement activities and must pass the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test, or successfully complete the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Course (OSSLC). How to Check Ontario Secondary School Diploma Results 2024

Steps on how to check your Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) results for 2024:

  1. Go to the Education Quality and Accountability Office (EQAO) website.
  2. Click on the OSSD Results tab.
  3. Enter your student ID and date of birth.
  4. Click on the Submit button.
  5. Your OSSD results will be displayed.

You can also check your OSSD results by calling the EQAO at 1-800-268-1142.

The EQAO will release OSSD results for 2024 in mid-June 2024.
