Odisha Primary Scholarship Results 2024 – 5th Class Bruti Result :- Odisha Primary Scholarship is a scholarship scheme offered by the Government of Odisha to meritorious and economically disadvantaged students of primary schools (Class I to V) in the state. The scholarship is awarded on the basis of a competitive examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha.
There are two types of Odisha Primary Scholarships:
- Merit Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to the top 15 students in each education district who score the highest marks in the competitive examination. The scholarship amount is Rs. 100 per month for two years.
- Merit-cum-Poverty Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to the top 15 students in each education district who belong to economically disadvantaged families and score the highest marks in the competitive examination. The scholarship amount is Rs. 100 per month for two years.
To be eligible for the Odisha Primary Scholarship, students must:
- Be a resident of Odisha.
- Be studying in a government or recognized private primary school in Odisha.
- Be enrolled in Class I to V.
- Have an annual family income of less than Rs. 1,00,000 for the general category and Rs. 80,000 for the SC/ST/OBC category.
The Odisha Primary Scholarship application process is online. Students can apply for the scholarship on the Odisha State Scholarship Portal. The application deadline is usually in the month of November.
After the application deadline, the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha will conduct the competitive examination. The examination is usually held in the month of December.
The results of the competitive examination are announced in the month of January. The selected students will receive their scholarship amount through their school bank accounts.

Odisha Primary Scholarship Result 2024 – 5th Class Bruti Result
The Odisha Primary Scholarship Result 2023 has not been released yet. It is expected to be released in the month of January 2023.
Once the result is released, students can check it on the Odisha State Scholarship Portal. To check the result, students will need to enter their roll number and date of birth.
The result will be displayed in the form of a merit list. The merit list will contain the names of the selected students, their roll numbers, and their marks.
Students who have been selected for the Odisha Primary Scholarship will receive their scholarship amount through their school bank accounts.

How to Check Odisha Primary Scholarship Result 2024 ?
- Visit the Odisha State Scholarship Portal.
- Click on the “Result” tab.
- Select “Odisha Primary Scholarship Result 2024” from the drop-down menu.
- Enter your roll number and date of birth.
- Click on the “Submit” button.
Your result will be displayed on the screen. You can also download and print your result for future reference.

A large segment of Odisha’s potential workforce is unemployable. With 76.04% literacy rate and an increasing number of dropouts failing to enroll or complete any form of higher education, According to a report of MHRD, one of the major reasons students drop out of school or colleges is poverty or economic issues. Apart from financial constraint, lack of awareness about educational scholarships, its accessibility and its application process are also some of the major factors for increase in dropout numbers in the state.
Odisha State Scholarship Portal envisioned to bridge the gap between the scholarship providers and scholarship seekers thus, encouraging more students to be in the system. Six major department of the state have on boarded onto this common platform for duplication and leakage free scholarship disbursal. The portal validates the applications of the students online based on Aadhar Authentication. This is a one stop database for scholarships and provides a transparent dashboard for institution and department to check the status of the application. Through this portal the scholarship monies can directly be disbursed to the bank accounts of the selected students.
Keeping in view the State Government’s commitment to make beneficiary-oriented schemes easily accessible, seamless and transparent, a unified State Scholarship Portal has been developed by bringing in 21 scholarship schemes of 6 major department of the government under a single platform. The Odisha State Scholarship Portal is an integrated e-Governance Portal for automation, streamlining & effective management of scholarship schemes being implemented in the state of Odisha across various departments. Odisha State Scholarship Portal envisioned to bridge the gap between the scholarship providers and scholarship seekers thus, encouraging more students to be in the system. Six major department of the state i.e. ST & SC Development, Higher Education, School & Mass Education, Labour & ESI, Skill Development & Technical Education and Agriculture have on boarded their scholarship schemes onto this common platform to provide one stop solution to eligible students to make an informed choice from amongst various scholarship schemes and avail the benefit in a seamless and transparent manner.
The features like Aadhaar based registration, integration with other on-line platforms/ data-bases relevant to scholarship programme like SAMS, e-District Portal, BSE database has been inbuilt in the architecture to minimize duplication and ensure leakage free scholarship disbursal. The State Scholarship Portal has been linked with the State Treasury Portal IFMS for automated payment directly in bank-accounts of beneficiaries.
