Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU), Nalgonda offers a Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) and a Doctor of Physical Education (D.P.Ed.) degree program. The B.P.Ed. program is a four-year undergraduate program, while the D.P.Ed. program is a two-year postgraduate program.

B.P.Ed. Program

The B.P.Ed. program at MGU is designed to prepare students for careers in physical education, sports, and recreation. The program covers a wide range of topics, including anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, exercise science, motor learning, physical education pedagogy, sports psychology, and sports management.

To be eligible for admission to the B.P.Ed. program, students must have completed a 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in physics, chemistry, and biology. They must also have passed the National Eligibility Test (NET) or the State Eligibility Test (SET).

D.P.Ed. Program
