The Department of Examinations of Sri Lanka has released the results of the Grade 5 Scholarship Examination 2023. The results were released on the Department’s website, www.doenets.lk, on August 17, 2023.
A total of 340,626 students applied for the examination, out of which 335,158 students sat for the exam. The number of students who passed the exam is 20,000, out of which 250 are for special needs students.
The cut-off marks for the examination vary according to the district and the medium (Sinhala or Tamil). The highest cut-off mark was 168, which was for the Colombo district in the Sinhala medium. The lowest cut-off mark was 98, which was for the Moneragala district in the Tamil medium.
