GIT Exam Results 2024 : Sri Lanka General Information Technology Exam For GCE A/L :- The Sri Lanka General Information Technology Exam (GIT) is a national-level examination conducted by the Department of Examinations of Sri Lanka for students in the GCE Advanced Level (A/L) stream. It was first introduced in 2002 to assess students’ knowledge and understanding of Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
The GIT exam syllabus covers a wide range of topics, including:
- Basic computer concepts and hardware
- Software applications
- Operating systems
- Networking
- The internet
- Web technologies
- Database management
- ICT in society
- Ethics and security
The exam is typically held in March each year and consists of two parts:
- Part 1: A multiple-choice paper with 70 questions (1 hour)
