Eligibility

To be eligible for the Dakhil SSC Scholarship, a student must:

  • Be a Bangladeshi citizen.
  • Have passed the Dakhil (SSC) examination from a recognized madrasah with a minimum GPA of 5.00.
  • Be from a poor and meritorious family.

Benefits

The Dakhil SSC Scholarship provides the following benefits to the selected students:

  • A monthly stipend of Tk. 1,000/-
  • A one-time grant of Tk. 10,000/- for the purchase of books and other educational materials.
  • Free tuition fees at the government madrasah where the student is studying.

Application Process

The application process for the Dakhil SSC Scholarship is as follows:

  • The student must download the application form from the website of the Ministry of Education, Bangladesh.
  • The student must fill up the application form and submit it to the headmaster of his/her madrasah.
  • The headmaster of the madrasah will scrutinize the application form and forward it to the District Education Officer (DEO).
  • The DEO will scrutinize the application form and forward it to the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (DSHE).
  • The DSHE will scrutinize the application form and prepare a list of the selected students.
  • The list of the selected students will be published on the website of the Ministry of Education, Bangladesh.

Deadline

The deadline for submitting the application form for the Dakhil SSC Scholarship is usually in the month of August.

About Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board

Bangladesh Education Board was formed and its Activities started at the government Madrasa-e-Alia- Campus in Dhaka. In 1978 Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board was Reorganized by the Promulgation of the Madrasa Education Ordinance. Hence, In June 1979 Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board became an Autonomous Institution.
