CSC Scholarship Results 2024 Announcement : Chinese Government Scholarship Results 2024 List Below :- The Chinese Government Scholarship (CGS) is a fully-funded scholarship that is offered to Sri Lankan students to study in China. It is open to students who want to pursue undergraduate, master’s, or doctoral degrees at any of the over 300 participating universities in China.

The Scholarship covers the following expenses:

  • Tuition fees
  • Accommodation
  • Living Expenses
  • Medical Insurance
  • Travel Expenses

In order to be eligible for the CGS, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a citizen of Sri Lanka
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Have a good academic record
  • Have a good command of English or Chinese
  • Be admissible to a university in China

The Application Process for the CGS is as follows:

  • Visit the website of the Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka to download the application form.
  • Fill out the application form and submit it along with the required documents to the Chinese Embassy.
  • The Chinese Embassy will review the applications and select the shortlisted candidates.
  • The shortlisted candidates will be invited to an interview.
  • The successful candidates will be notified by the Chinese Embassy.

China Announces Govt Scholarship Programme for Sri Lankan Graduates

China has announced its Government education scholarship programme for Sri Lankan graduates for the year 2023/24.

The Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka said that 36 government scholarships for Masters and PhD will be provided for eligible Sri Lankan graduates.

The Embassy further said that candidates will be provided an opportunity to select from 280+ top Chinese universities.

“Tuition fees, dormitory, monthly stipend, and comprehensive medical insurance are all covered,” the Chinese Embassy said in a Twitter message. 

Those interested have been requested to apply via Sri Lanka’s Ministry of Education.
