Civil Service Exam Result 2023 : August 2023 CSE-PPT : Check Below :- The Civil Service Commission (CSC) of the Philippines has released the results of the August 2023 Career Service Examination-Pen and Paper Test (CSE-PPT) on November 3, 2023. The list of passers can be viewed on the CSC website at https://www.csc.gov.ph/downloads/category/31-list-of-passers.

The CSE-PPT is a two-part examination that is held once a year to screen applicants for government positions. The first part is a paper-and-pencil test that covers general knowledge, English proficiency, and quantitative reasoning. The second part is a job-related test that covers specific knowledge and skills required for the position being applied for.

To pass the CSE-PPT, applicants must obtain a general weighted average of at least 80%. Those who pass the examination are eligible for appointment to government positions in the Professional and Sub-Professional levels.

A total of 64,635 examinees passed the Career Service Examination, Pen and Paper Test for Professional and Nonprofessional Levels held in August 2023. Among them, 56,672 passed the professional level, with the National Capital Region having the highest number of passers at 10,759, while the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) had the least with 309 passers. On the other hand, 7,693 passed the subprofessional level, with the National Capital Region also leading this list with 1,789 examinees passing and the BARMM having the least with 13 passers.

Exam Ratings

Examinees can view their exam ratings through the CSC’s OCSERGS or Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System. The examination rating from the OCSERGS shall be available on November 18, 2023 or 15 days after the posting of official results.

Issuance of Certificates of Eligibility

The Certificate of Eligibility (CoE) for the Professional and Sub-Professional levels will be available 30 days after posting the official results. However, it would help if you verified first with the CSC Regional/Field Office the availability of the CoE. The Civil Service Commission issues the CoE free of charge but you must claim it personally because representatives are not allowed to claim the certificate. If you took the exam in a certain region but recently moved to another region, you can claim your Certificate of Eligibility at the nearest CSC Regional or Field Office upon written request.
