A-G Passers : November 2023 Civil Engineer Board Exam CELE Result :- The Civil Engineer Licensure Examination (CELE) is a licensure examination in the Philippines administered by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) to assess the competency of civil engineering graduates to practice civil engineering in the Philippines. The examination is held twice a year, in April and November.
Eligibility
To be Eligible to take the CELE, an applicant must:
- Be a graduate of a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) program from a school or university recognized by the Philippine Accrediting Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU) or its equivalent;
- Have passed the Engineers’ Aptitude Test (EAT);
- Have not been convicted of any crime involving moral turpitude;
- Be of good moral character; and
- Must not have been previously disqualified by the PRC to take any licensure examination.
Registration
The application for the CELE is usually accepted three months before the scheduled examination. Applicants are required to submit the following documents:

- NSO/PSA Birth Certificate;

- NSO/PSA Marriage Contract (for married female applicants);

- Transcript of Records with scanned picture and Remarks “For Board Examination Purposes”;

- Valid NBI Clearance (First Timers and Repeaters);

- Two (2) Certificates of Good Moral Character from any 2 of the following: Barangay; Church; School; Employer;
- Payment: P900.00 – complete.
Examination Coverage
The CELE is divided into two parts:
- Part 1: Mathematics, Science, and Engineering Fundamentals
- Part 2: Civil Engineering
Part 1 covers the following topics:
- Mathematics: Algebra, Trigonometry, Calculus, Differential Equations, and Statistics;
- Science: Physics, Chemistry, and Geology;
- Engineering Fundamentals: Mechanics, Statics, Dynamics, Strength of Materials, and Hydraulics.
Part 2 covers the following topics:
- Engineering Mechanics: Structural Analysis, Geotechnical Engineering, and Engineering Materials;
- Hydraulics and Water Resources Engineering: Fluid Mechanics, Hydrology, and Water Resources Engineering;
- Environmental Engineering: Environmental Engineering, Air Pollution Control, and Solid Waste Management;
- Transportation Engineering: Transportation Engineering, Highway Engineering, and Traffic Engineering;
- Construction Engineering and Management: Construction Engineering, Construction Management, and Project Management.
Passing Score
The passing score for the CELE is 70%.
