Hussaini Adamu Federal Polytechnic School Fees 2023/2024 : Check Below :- Hussaini Adamu Federal Polytechnic (HAFEDPOLY) is a federal polytechnic located in Kazaure, Jigawa State, Nigeria. It was founded in December 1991 as Jigawa State Polytechnic, with four colleges in different locations. These were the College of Engineering, Science and Technology at Kazaure, the College of Business and Management Studies at Dutse, the College of Islamic and Legal Studies at Ringim and the College of Agriculture at Hadejia. The Central Administration is also located at Kazaure.

The college was renamed Hussaini Adamu Polytechnic in 1998, in honor of the former emir of Kazaure, Alhaji Hussaini Adamu. It became a federal polytechnic in January 2007.

HAFEDPOLY offers National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) programs in a variety of fields, including:

Hussaini Adamu Federal Polytechnic School Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for admission into Hussaini Adamu Federal Polytechnic (HAFEDPOLY) are as follows:

National Diploma (ND) Programmes

  • A minimum of five (5) credits in the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE)/National Examination Council (NECO)/National Business and Technical Education Board (NABTEB) in relevant O’level subjects at not more than two sittings.
  • A minimum JAMB cut-off mark of 100.

Higher National Diploma (HND) Programmes

  • A National Diploma (ND) certificate from a recognized institution with a minimum of Lower Credit (CGPA of 2.50).
  • A minimum of five (5) relevant credits in the Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (SSCE)/National Examination Council (NECO)/National Business and Technical Education Board (NABTEB) at not more than two sittings.
  • A minimum JAMB cut-off mark of 120.

Additional Requirements

  • Candidates must be Nigerian citizens or possess a valid permanent resident permit.
  • Candidates must be at least 16 years old by the 31st of December in the year of admission.
  • Candidates must be physically and mentally fit.

Part-Time Programmes

The eligibility criteria for admission into part-time programmes at HAFEDPOLY are the same as those for full-time programmes, with the exception that candidates must be employed full-time.

Hussaini Adamu Federal Polytechnic School Selection Process

The selection process for admission into Hussaini Adamu Federal Polytechnic (HAFEDPOLY) is as follows:

  1. JAMB UTME Registration: Candidates must register for the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and select HAFEDPOLY as their first choice institution.
  2. HAFEDPOLY Post-UTME Registration: Candidates who meet the JAMB cut-off mark for HAFEDPOLY will be required to register for the HAFEDPOLY Post-UTME screening exercise.
  3. Post-UTME Screening: The HAFEDPOLY Post-UTME screening exercise is a computer-based test that assesses candidates’ knowledge in English Language, Mathematics, and a third subject relevant to their chosen course of study.
  4. Admission List: The HAFEDPOLY admission list is compiled based on candidates’ performance in the JAMB UTME and Post-UTME screening exercise.

Selection Criteria:

The following criteria are used to select candidates for admission into HAFEDPOLY:

  • JAMB UTME score: The JAMB UTME score accounts for 50% of the total selection score.
  • Post-UTME score: The Post-UTME score accounts for 50% of the total selection score.

Admission Preference:

  • Catchment Area: Candidates from Jigawa State have a higher preference than candidates from other states.
  • Persons with Disabilities: Candidates with disabilities have a higher preference than candidates without disabilities.
