Gulu University Mature Age Examination 2024
Gulu University offers a Mature Age Examination for individuals who are 25 years of age or older and do not possess the required qualifications for direct entry into the university’s degree programs. The Mature Age Examination is an opportunity for individuals to demonstrate their potential to undertake degree-level studies.
To be eligible to sit for the Mature Age Examination at Gulu University, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be 25 years of age or older
- Possess a Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) with at least 5 passes, including English and Mathematics, or its equivalent
- Possess a Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) with at least 1 principal pass and 2 subsidiary passes, or its equivalent
- Have a minimum of two years of work experience in a relevant field.
The examination consists of two parts: a written examination and an interview. The written examination covers subjects related to the applicant’s desired degree program, and the interview assesses the applicant’s communication and interpersonal skills.
Upon successful completion of the Mature Age Examination, applicants may be offered admission into their desired degree program at Gulu University.

Gulu University Mature Age Examination Eligibility Criteria
The Eligibility criteria for the Mature Age Examination at Gulu University:
- Age: Applicants must be at least 25 years of age at the time of application.
